Young adults can also benefit from leadership training

Did you know that the Dale Carnegie Training office of Central and Southern New Jersey offers leadership courses for college students and other young adults?

The benefits go beyond becoming more confident in your classes and having an advantage once you enter the work force — it’s about improving communications in your everyday life, former students say.

The program for students boast many of the same attributes as the program for adults, such as the ability to put the ideas into practice immediately. But, youth program graduates agree that the skills will be useful for the rest of their lives, too. One student says the course gave him the confidence to apply for a job he might not have considered before he took the course — and that the skills he learned during the course helped him land that position.

Improving leadership skills, improving communication skills, having confidence — these are skills that can’t be taught early enough. If you’re a college student, or know someone who could benefit from a youth course, contact the office today at anita.zinsmeister@dalecarnegie.com or 609-324-9200 to learn more.
