New Jersey tends to be full of “early adopters” in technology; those who jump in early to try new gadgets, devices, and technologies. Perhaps it’s our proximity to New York, or perhaps there’s something in our makeup that just says “Let’s see what else we can do.”
Either way, NJBiz is reporting that a forecast by DisplaySearch shows that the growth of mobile computing purchases are set to peak at 30.4% this year; early adopter markets like New Jersey are key drivers for those figures.
Early adopters tend to be either young people or professionals; those who realize that the latest mobile gadget is far more than just a toy—they are the enablers of instant business, super-fast transactions, and ever-increasing contact with customers and suppliers.
What mobile gadgets are you planning on purchasing this year? A tablet? A smartphone? A netbook?
