With low-cost, web-based tools—many freely available, starting up a business is easier than ever.
NJ.com’s business section has an article today with a very thorough and extremely helpful list of free or inexpensive apps that can handle almost any small business task, from scheduling and project management to marketing, shipping, and more.
Some of the apps highlighted include Mailchimp for email marketing, Basecamp for project management, and Dropbox for file sharing. The article has the full list along with a helpful description of each application.
It used to be that you needed quite a bit of capital to start up a business, and a lot of that went into equipment basics such as telephone networks, copy and fax machines, office printers, and other “big stuff”, but now all you really need is a computer, an internet connection, and a great idea.
What are you waiting for?
